Panasonic KX-TG4032B Digital Answering System

A great cordless phone system with answering machine. As with all Panasonic products, good quality and value for the price. Looked at many on the market, but was impressed with the many features, like the Dect 6.0, illuminated displays, audio message playback and call answering. Being our main home phone, we needed the features, and durability available with this phone system. Another nice feature is the non slip handsets. This system meets our expectations and would recommend to any one looking to purchase a good quality, home system for the price.

Best cordless! only a few quibbles....

This is a great phone, not only because it's beautiful. Because it's modern and smart. Recently I've been buying lots of Panasonic products because they are one of the only companies not selling JUNK to us. I bought their vacuum cleaner too.

Just a few minor quibbles (are you listening Panasonic?):
- answering machine does not have a constant blip to let you know you have messages- if you don't check for the flashing light, you might miss messages until the next day.
- due to interference from appliances I couldn't keep the base unit near the front door/kitchen because I couldn't get a dial tone. I had to put the extension pod there and the base unit in my bedroom. Not a big deal but I like checking messages when I walk in the door. You might have different results of course.
- Menus could be a little bit more easy to navigate. You'll need to keep the instruction manual around for reference. Japanese people might do this, but let's face it, most Americans will never look at the manual or throw it away. Which would be unfortunate because there are a few programming codes and info that you will NEED later. Save the manual. However it is available online.
I almost gave 4 stars based on this but then I discovered all of the great features this phone has. I love it, overall. And it looks darn slick. Nice design.

Very satisfied with purchase from Amazon

I am very satisfied with all the features on this phone. The clarity is excellent,it takes up very little space and it looks nice. I also purchased the Panasonic headset #KX-TCA6O which allows me to walk around with the phone clipped to my belt hands free. Callers are not aware that I am using a headset as they are with speaker phones. I would recommend this product.
