finally a 2-line dect cordless from at&t -- pretty good, too

A good 2-line portable DECT 6.0 digital phone -- finally one from AT&T. Even though it's 2010, I had never had anything other than corded landlines in my house, so I was not sure what to expect with how long the battery would remain charged. The answer: it's definitely not as long as my cell phone's ability to retain a charge, so it needs charging more often. And it takes much, much longer to recharge. I can only hope that at least the life of the battery will be long. Won't know that for a while.

Going through the call log and using the directory are not as simple as I my cell phone -- the buttons for cancelling a call and for scrolling back or erasing might have been made slightly more distinct.

The base is absolutely excellent, and I love the speaker on both the base and this handset.

Overall, pretty satisfied with the purchase. It's not easy to find 2-line dect cordless, so this attempt by at&t is definitely worth considering.

Great phones

I replaced a 5.8 Ghz phone system with a set of these DECT 6.0 phones, and they have all been excellent. I have a home-based consulting business and need reliable 2-line phones for client interaction and personal calling. These phones have excellent range and great features for returning calls, saving numbers for new clients, and they work with hands-free sets, too. I haven't even tried the bluetooth connection capability for my cell phone, but that is a feature, too.

The price was affordable and quality better than I expected. These are a great buy.

"Spoke" to the base unit with no effort; interfaced perfectly; functions extremely well. First rate product.
